On My Holiday I Read...Airhead by Meg Cabot

Airhead by Meg Cabot

Em Watts-not so average seventeen year old. In the way that she is crazy about the environment, totally against Stark (the company responsible for killing America-literally (although nobody knows), a feminist, smart, never wears make up and can't give a fuss about her clothes. Oh yeah, and she is totally in love with her best friend Christopher. Who doesn't know anything about it.                                    Nikki Howard-not so average seventeen year old. In the way that she really isn't so fussed on the environment, the face of Stark, all into clothes and make up and partying, left school, declared herself as an emancipated minor before 16. Oh yeah, she is the worlds most famous supermodel. But that's all about to change.....

So how do you think Em felt waking up in Nikki's body? When Em might hate Nikki and everything her life includes-but she's going to be forced to live Nikki's life for her? And then Christopher...people reach into their past lives. They can't leave it all behind. But where does that leave Em and Christopher? Or should you say...Nikki and Christopher? I mean, considering that there is no person called Em Watts (legally) still alive?

I could go on forever talking about this. Sometimes, after reading a book once, thats it, blah blah put it on a shelf and forget about it. i've read this so many times, and each time is better and better, so pleasepleaseplease try it!

My Favourite Things No. 3: Airhead: Runaway by Meg Cabot

!SPOILER ALERT FOR AIRHEAD AND BEING NIKKI!

Em's new life isn't turning out as great as she hoped. First, she found out that the real Nikki is still alive in another persons body, then she broke Christopher's heart all because of Brandon Stark (who has now taken her hostage in some amazing island. fun.)
Then she has to take part in the Stark Angels Fashion Show, which she has been against her whole life.
Oh yeah, and Em needs to find out why Robert Stark tried to kill Nikki before Brandon does.
Or her whole life is going to collapse.

Runaway is actually my favourite book of all the Airhead trilogy (which is hard to pick). You get the romance, but the plot has the action and suspense which makes it so readable. its the type of book that you dont want to put down because its so good! i know i always say it but buybuybuy!

My Favourite Things No. 1: Airhead by Meg Cabot

Em Watts is anti Stark, make up, heels and Nikki Howard. So it comes as a big shock to her when she ends up as Nikki Howard-literally. She's next to Christopher one moment, then BAM, she's in a hospital and looks in the mirror, and staring right back at her is the worlds biggest teenager. So now she is worlds top model-every girls dream. Yeah right. Em now has to deal with every guy who sees her instantly falling in love with her at first sight apart from the only one she actually cares about. Then there's Lulu, and Brandon, and Frida-worlds most annoying tween sister. Can she still keep her connections with her past life...or leave it all behind?

I LOVE AIRHEAD. It's just so, well, lovable. Em is funny, likable and mature, a type of heroine I haven't seen in a while. I fell in love with Christopher as well (book crush no:1) and Lulu. They are perfect together, Em/Nikki and Lulu.

You get to see the perfect mix of Em and Nikki's lives, which is really enjoyable. Also, there are some moments when I couldn't stop laughing and some where I wanted to cry for Em. It's such a good book so buy it, like, now.
