When Peter Klaven proposed to his girlfriend, she said yes. She also couldn't wait to call all her family and friends-but when she asked who Peter wanted to call, he said that he didn't need to. Then when he overhead Zooey (his fiance) telling her friends that he was lonely, and friendless-he knew that he had to find a best man for his wedding. So, his brother set him up on 'man-dates' to try and find the ideal best man. But, when you have no friends, it can be hard to find them...especially in such a short time. But then he met Sydney, and it looks like he's found his best man. Soon though, the friendship starts to show its cracks..
This movie was easy to watch, and actually quite funny. I like any movie Paul Rudd's in, but I had only seen Jason Segel in How I Met Your Mother (which annoys me). But, he played the part well. It was a nice storyline, quite predictable and some not funny parts but thats what you get from a 15. The man dates were good though.

My Favourite Things No. 5: Little Miss Sunshine
THIS IS AMAZING. just to say.
Sheryl is the stressed and tired mum of 2 kids (Dwayne and Olive). Dwayne is the typical, oh-so-moody-I'm-all-troubled-and-really-angry-at-everyone teenager, who has taken a vow of silence until he becomes a pilot (which is his dream). Her daughter, Olive, is obsessed with beauty pageants. She will do anything to win (although she's 7). Then there's Sheryl's brother, Frank, gay and now living with the family after he tried to commit suicide. Richard's (Sheryl's husband and father of Olive) motivational speaking plan never seems to take off. And then, finally, is Edwin-Richard's rude, cocaine-taking dad who got kicked out of his care home.
When Olive finds out that she got entered into the Little Miss Sunshine beauty pageant in California the whole family have to set off in their rickety old campervan, to get there. In two days.
This is such a great movie. The characters have such great chemistry, and I loved Abigail Breslin as Olive-the cutest little thing! Really sweet, feel good laugh out loud movie. It's so funny and amazing and the characters are so good, i could watch this a thousand times over without getting bored.
