Water For Elephants

Veterinary student Jacob Jankowski's life comes to a sudden halt when he is informed of the death of his parents. Learning that his parents were in serious debt and had a huge mortgage to pay off, living Jacob nothing, he suffers a breakdown and gets on the first train he can. He soon realises that he is on a circus train, belonging to the Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. Jacob then meets Marlena, the beautiful wife of August - brutally cruel animal trainer and circus owner. August then hires him as the animal vet; but Jacob soon finds himself falling in love with Marlena...leading to dreadful consequences.
This movie contained 2 of my most favourite things in the world. Number 1, elephants, and Number 2, Robert Pattinson (and he was so gorgeous in this movie!) These two put together meant that I was dying to see this film. However, as good as the plot was and as amazing as Robert Pattinson was and as lovable as the elephants were, there was no chemistry between Jacob and Marlena (Reese Witherspoon). She annoys me for some reason, and there was no real spark between the two, so it was kind of...blah.
On the other hand, it was a good movie that i did enjoy, and would probably only watch one more time. But it was good.
