Do The Right Thing by Jane Goldman

Ever wondered what you would do if you were locked in someone elses toilet? Or how to be the perfect guest? Almost every single situation you could come across are covered in this book, and it tells you exactly how to deal with them.

Now, I've read these books before and a lot of them are quite funny, and the authors have a sense of humor. But this one, sure it talked about everything you need to know-but it was so boring! I had to force myself to read it. Everything in here you could find out via friends (and that would be way more fun than reading this). If it was a person, they would be pretty and neat and tidy and have 0% personality. Sorry Jane.

  1. Aw that sucks!
I have read tons of etiquette books too - none actually geared toward teens or kids like I was when I read them - but they are usually funny or at least interesting, I never had to force myself to read them.

    :(
I think you're right, it should be funny.

  2. Yeah, if they're not funny they're just plain boring. I think she tried a bit too hard to make it really informative, but it just made me yaaaaawwwwnnnn :O
